How it works
Playing for sats on play4sats, in plain terms.
What does it cost?
You pay 0.55× the prize to enter — a $10 prize costs a $5.50 stake. Win and you take the full prize; the difference is our fee. Everyone pays the same rate, and there are no other charges.
What if no opponent is found?
Your stake is held while we look for an opponent — for up to 72 hours. If none is found in that window, it's refunded automatically and in full. Waiting never costs you anything.
Who wins the prize?
Both players get the exact same deal, and the higher score takes the prize. The payout always follows the score — there are no forfeits for leaving early or timing out.
How do I get paid?
Winnings go straight to your Lightning address the moment the match settles — usually within seconds. No wallet to top up, no balance to withdraw.
One wallet per account
Each account has a single Lightning payout address, which you set on the Account page. That address receives every payout.
